Using NDIS funding to subscribe

Our goal for While You Wait is to bridge the service gap for services with resources that are accessible and affordable.

If you're in Australia, our products and subscriptions are claimable using NDIS funding. You can use either your low-cost consumable budget, or if you prefer to use therapy hours it can be claimed against your capacity building budget.

Under the NDIS price guide, a participant can use their funding for subscription services under their consumable budget provided the following criteria are met:

  • The subscriptions must be purchased using low-cost consumable/assistive technology budget
  • A service agreement is provided
  • Subscriptions may be charged monthly, or where the annual cost is less than $1500, can be charged annually.

If you would like to use your NDIS funding to purchase a subscription or products from our store, it will depend on how your plan is managed.

Types of Funding

Self Managed

If you self-manage your NDIS plan, you can purchase privately and use your payment receipt to claim reimbursement from NDIS.

NDIS Subscription Service Request Form (Self-Managed)

Plan Managed

If you have a plan manager, you can complete the below NDIS Subscription Service Request and we will send the invoice to your plan manager for payment.

Due to delays with processing from plan managers, the monthly subscription option is only available in 3-month periods for plan-managed clients. This allows us to bill quarterly and prevent issues caused but delays from plan managers.

You will receive your subscription access once payment is received from your plan manager.

Please note - it can take 2-4 weeks to process your plan-managed subscription claim. This timeline depends on how swiftly your plan manager approves the claim.

Agency Managed

If your NDIS plan is agency managed, we can claim payment directly from NDIS.

Complete the NDIS Service agreement below. Once we process payment, we will send you your subscription access link.

Please note - it may take 3 business days to process your agency-managed subscription claim.
