Identifying and Describing Semantic Relationships
This activity is a matching memory-style game that improves receptive and expressive language skills.
The aim is to increase the child’s understanding of semantic relationships and
increase their ability to understand word meaning and how objects are related.
This is one of my favourite resources as a clinician – it’s such a simple game and resource but targets so many goals in one. It teaches turn taking, vocabulary, relationships between items, and sentence structure all in one neat game.
